Open the WhatsApp PDF
Tap the attachment in WhatsApp and use the iOS Share button. Choose PDF Sign & Scan; if it is not visible, use Save to Files and import the PDF from there.

Place your real signature
Tap Sign, choose the handwritten signature you already saved, then drag and pinch it until it fits the intended signature line.

Check and send it back
Review the correct page, tap Send to export a flattened signed PDF, and choose WhatsApp from the iOS share sheet.

Keep the received original
Leave the original attachment in the conversation or save a copy in Files so you can compare it with the version you returned.

- Tap More in the iOS share sheet and enable the app, or save the attachment to Files first.
- Make sure you are sharing the PDF attachment, not a screenshot of its preview.
- Open the exported PDF once before returning it.
Questions
Can I send the signed PDF back through WhatsApp?
Yes. After export, choose WhatsApp in the iOS share sheet and select the conversation.
Does the app sign inside WhatsApp?
No. The iOS share extension passes the PDF to PDF Sign & Scan; the signed copy is then shared back.
