Capture a clear signature
Write on plain paper with dark ink, then scan it with the camera or choose an existing photo. Even lighting matters more than the pen color in the source.

Remove the paper
Compare Before and After, then adjust Paper Cleanup and Ink Strength until the background disappears and thin strokes remain.

Choose blue ink
Select blue in the cleanup screen, name the signature, and save it to your local signature library.

Place it on the PDF
Open the PDF, choose the blue saved signature, and drag and pinch it into the requested field before exporting.

Keep the result believable
- Use a realistic size relative to the printed text around it.
- Do not over-clean thin upstrokes and dots.
- Confirm that the recipient accepts a visible electronic signature.

Can I switch a saved signature between black and blue?

Is blue ink more legally valid?
Ink color alone does not decide validity. Document and recipient requirements vary.
