Questions
Before you sign
Can I scan a handwritten signature from paper?
Yes. PDF Sign & Scan uses the iPhone camera to capture a signature, removes the paper background on device, and saves the cleaned result for reuse.
Can I export the signature as a transparent PNG?
Yes. Open the signature library, use the signature actions menu, and choose Export as PNG.
Does the app create a certificate-based digital signature?
No. It places your handwritten electronic signature and exports a flattened PDF. It does not issue certificates or create a cryptographic digital signature.
Where are my documents and signatures stored?
The app stores them on your device. There is no account and no document cloud upload in the signing flow.
